Leadership

Dan Kim - Managing Director

Dan supports global health ecosystems shape complex digital programmes. He works as a CIO advisor and delivers IT evaluations, hands-on architecture support, and investor due diligence.

Dan recently served as Executive Officer in the Division of Data & Analytics at the World Health Organization headquarters. Previous clients include a variety of industries including e-commerce, financial services, and software development.

Kathleen Bennett - Managing Director

Kathleen specializes in developing strategies for complex initiatives, conducting organizational assessments, and designing implementation roadmaps for clients on data and technology initiatives that enable the collection, management and analysis of cross-sectoral data

She has worked with clients in several industries, including K-12 and higher education, workforce development, financial services, utilities, and non-profit.

Tim Kinkead - Managing Director

Tim helps organizations increase impact by using technology to transform practices and capabilities. His expertise includes strategic technology planning, venture advisory services, and data compliance & access policies.

Tim has held multiple C-level positions leading large information technology organizations and has consulted for numerous non-profits and fortune 500 companies.

Preva Group employs consultants that have a rich background in technology management and are driven by social impact. Consultant profiles include data scientists, IT architects, software developers, data visualization experts, statisticians, and technical product managers.

Half of our staff have PhDs or advanced degrees in Mathematics, Engineering or other sciences and a third have experience with global consulting firms.

Jimena Espinosa Mijares

Consultant

Jimena specializes in Measurement & Evaluation developing actionable success frameworks backed by practical processes and ongoing trend analyses. She brings relevant experience in grant operations representing both grantees and foundations. Jimena has also spent much of her career as a research and data analyst at organizations such as the United Nations Development Program, The Hunger Project, and Worldfund.

Dr. Sergey Feldman

Sr. Data Scientist

Sergey Feldman has been working with data and designing machine learning algorithms since 2007. He's done both academic and real-world data wrangling and loves to learn about new domains in order to build the perfect solution for the problem at hand. Sergey has a PhD in machine learning from the University of Washington, and is also an expert in natural language processing, statistics, and signal processing.

Dr. Ryan Hafen

Sr. Data Scientist

Ryan is a data scientist and researcher that focuses on tools and applications in exploratory analysis, visualization, computational statistics, statistical model building, and machine learning on large, complex datasets. Ryan is an adjunct assistant professor at Purdue University and previously worked on applications in fields such as cyber security and biological sciences.

Veronika Stump

Consultant

Nika supports organizations develop enterprise data strategies and plan technical program implementations, across public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. She specializes in designing data and technology programs, including reporting and analytics initiatives and technical prototype development.

Pedro del Castillo

Sr. Consultant

Pedro specializes in Technical Architecture and designing solutions for the orchestration of standards, technologies, and infrastructure to enable data management and data exchange. Pedro earned his MBA from the University of Washington, has an MS in engineering from Georgia Tech, and started his career as an engineer in Mexico City, Mexico.
